RETURNS
We hope that you love your purchase from The Edit, but if you wish to return your goods for a refund you may do so subject to the following policy.
RETURNS POLICY -
Goods may be returned for a full refund within 14 days of receipt, with a receipt or proof of purchase.
Items must be new, unused, and with all original labels attached. We cannot accept goods that show signs of use or are damaged.
Online return shipping is at the customer’s expense. The Edit is not responsible for items lost during the returns process.
Sale items, gift cards, earrings, and cosmetics cannot be returned.
Due to hygiene regulations, earrings can only be returned if faulty. Faulty earrings will be replaced with the same style, or if sold out, a pair from the same brand.
Cosmetics cannot be returned if opened or used. For adverse reactions, please contact the brand directly with the product serial number and photos of the reaction.
Products purchased from The Collective and Cadeaux Caversham cannot be returned or exchanged to The Edit, as the businesses operate separately.
This policy in no way affects your statutory consumer rights. -
REFUNDS
HOW TO RETURN AN ITEM -
- Contact our customer service team at hello@theeditshop.co.uk to request a return authorisation.
- Package your item securely and include your proof of purchase or order number.
- Ship the return to the address provided by our team. Please note that return shipping costs are your responsibility unless the item is faulty or incorrect.
- Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll notify you.
- If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 5-10 business days.
Goods may be returned in store, with a receipt or proof of purchase.
EXCHANGES -
We do not offer exchanges on our online store. If you’d like a different size or item, please place a new order and return the original item for a refund following the above process.
Exchanges are accepted in store within 14 days, for items that are new, unused, and with all original labels attached, with proof of purchase.
Exchanges for damaged, defective, incorrect, or faulty items after 14 days will be replaced like for like if available or exchanged for a similar product from the same brand. If the replacement is higher in value, the customer is responsible for the difference.

CHRISTMAS RETURNS POLICY 2025
Our extended Christmas returns run from 9th November to 9th January.
Exchanges & Store Credit- Items purchased between 9th Nov-24th December can be exchanged or returned for store credit until 9th January.
- Items must be unworn, unused, and in original condition with tags attached.

Faulty Items
We will offer a repair, replacement or refund in line with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Gift Receipts
Gift Receipts can be exchanged for store credit until 9th January.
